My greatest passion is painting. Colours have intriged me, ever since I was a child. When I paint, I paint from my soul and my deepest feelings, whereby drive and thoroughness play a big part. I get my inspiration from my childhood memories, my many travels abroad, but also from my social happening and events as well as from my own fantasy.

My paintings are versatile and cannot be placed in just one category. They're modern-surrealistic, semi-abstract, allegoric, creative and fantastic. But, above all, they contain a message.

I prefer to work with acrylic paint, supplemented with pastels, gouache and other materials.

The basis of or the foundation for my paintings are paper, canvas or palette.
